Recently I heard the Lord speaking over many that have been through an intense season of trauma and loss. The Lord was highlighting perspective and how what many had been through had shifted their lenses. Recently I had an encounter with the Lord and He showed me many in the body of Christ who have felt overcome with sorrow. The Lord showed me this sorrow was from circumstances in the last few years, but there were also things from many years ago that were still causing sorrow in the heart. I watched as these ones felt like their very breath had been taken by this sorrow. The word that surrounded me in this encounter was “overcome”.
