ACHILLES HEEL, HERE COMES THE MAN OF STEEL
This morning I heard the words “achilles heel, here comes the man of steel”.
Achilles heel definition: a portion, spot, area, or the like, that is especially or solely vulnerable: weakness (www.dictionary.com)
2 Corinthians 12:9 was going over and over in my head today as I asked the Lord about the “achilles heel” phrase.
“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
Whatever the “weakness”, however that is defined in your life, whatever the area of vulnerability, the Lord is coming as your SUPER MAN! The Lord is coming to show Himself STRONG on your behalf. (For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. – 2 Chronicles 16:9)
I saw areas of the soul, areas the enemy has been hitting, areas where you are stepping out and feel in over your head, areas of fear, doubt, hopelessness, all the areas of weakness, keep handing them to Him and going deeper still, for the Lord is about to demonstrate His power in your life in a significant way.
The Lord is doing what only He can do! Lean in, for you will know the supernatural strength of the Lord in the weakness on a deeper level.
I also saw the Lord coming in mighty power with His healing oil and as the people of God pressed into Him regarding some areas of vulnerability of the soul, I saw the Lord bringing about DEEP healing to their hearts and lives through many avenues and suddenly DOORS the enemy thought he had access to are being suddenly shut. I saw prayer ministry, healing, deliverance and christian counselling rooms being FILLED to overflowing with the people of God and the fire of His love falling on these places burning away things that have held them back and releasing deeper revelations of the fire of His love, as they began to see deeper areas of the soul that need healing. As they positioned themselves in various ways they were being led into deeper encounters with the love of Papa that was bringing deep healing and freedom. I felt the Lord wanting to say to His people today there is NO SHAME in seeking help for dealing with specific areas of the soul that are coming to the surface. You are BRAVE and COURAGEOUS! The Lord is really dealing deeply in the hearts and souls of His people in this season and removing things that hinder as we position ourselves before Him with our heart cry of permission and YES to Him. Some of you are moving into the greatest moments of deep healing and freedom you have known. All in connecting with HIS heart. I saw Jesus moving through the body of Christ and as the people of God aligned themselves with their “YES” to Him, He began removing areas of trauma that they had endured. Trauma is being lifted off in HUGE ways in this season and as it is lifted off, many are going to see physical healing of their bodies SUDDENLY manifest.
There is an invitation in the recalibrating that’s happening. A partnership required in taking our thoughts captive. As we partner with Him, I saw the Lord recalibrating hearts and minds in the secret place where deep wounds that have caused great torment and anxiety for many, these areas are going to receive deep healing, and a deeper rewiring, a greater alignment with His mind and heart, for YOU have the mind of Christ. I saw Him recalibrating hearts for a NEW WAY TO FLY through a deep rewiring, new and deep revelations of who He is and His Word and who you are, that are going to cause you to fly in a whole new way and higher than you have been before.

Last night I had a terribly restless night, but while sleep escaped me, I found my spirit quite wide awake and praying. Many people and situations came to mind and I used the sleepless night to intercede.
I finally fell asleep as it was nearing morning, but when I woke up I found myself quite exhausted. I ended up rearranging my schedule so I would stay home from work. I felt badly about staying home from work and as I prayed I was reminded me of the sadness of my youth. I believe this is an Achille’s heel that I was unaware I carried.
When I was a teenager and for many years of my young life, I struggled with severe depression. It made going to school a terrible struggle as I had no mental energy to focus and learn. As a result I often skipped school and did something probably worse which was to stay home, isolated and alone.
The Lord has since healed the depression, but I did not realize I still felt guilt, shame, and a sense of failure because of that period of my life. This morning I said, “Yes, Lord. Heal and deal with the ashes of my youth and I surrender them to you and accept your crown of beauty.”
When I prayed the Isaiah 61:3 exchange of ashes for a crown of beauty, I saw myself surrounded and buried in a heap of ashes but then the ashes began to shake and vibrate. As they shook and vibrated, they began to condense, harden, and solidify. Then I saw the Lord gently blowing on the ashes as if He were breathing on an ember to start a fire. As He blew, the black in the solidified ashes were removed and I was left in a great heap of brilliant fiery diamonds. They were beautiful and glorious:0)
I pray that as God’s people call out and say Yes to His Isaiah 61:3 promise, they too will find themselves surrounded by great mountains of diamonds for every tear they have shed and every torment and accusation the enemy has tried to hurl at them.
