Word is Fire Day 2 Information.
If you are receiving this email again – I apologize. I have been using a mail-merge with outlook, but I have had more than a few people say they are not getting the message in full. I am trying another method.
If you are not registered for the Word is Fire conference and you are getting this, please ignore this message.
We are very excited to be hosting the “His Word is Fire” Web conference. We are between 12 – 14 hours away from starting our second session, and just like before, our speakers are just as excited as we are. (It may take a couple of hours for these emails to send to everyone)
I have uploaded the first video – Gary Beaton as the first speaker of the day. It was a powerful word and I encourage you to have a watch. I hope to have three more videos up within the next few hours.
To watch the videos – go to our website, and on the Media menu to My Media page: (http://new.lanavawser.com/my-media). Enter the username and password you entered in as you registered (your email works as a username too), look for the Word is Fire graphic, and select the watch now button. If the button is not working, please make sure you are clicking the Watch Now button for the correct conference.
The videos will display as a gallery, with links to the separate videos below the main video window. I will number them to make them easier to spot.
The next sessions will start at 10AM (Aust EST) (8pm US EST), we will open the room 20 minutes early for people to gather and chat a little before the session starts. We generally have a video playing for you to watch while you wait to pass the time. As this is a free conference it has been very popular, and there are many more registrants than there are spaces available in the Zoom room. That said, we know of many who have registered but won’t be available during the live sessions. We had plenty of space left in the first zoom session, so please feel welcome.
Please, double check the starting time in your own time zone, and jump in early to make sure your space is secure. If you are unsure about the starting time in your time zone, please click the registration link (even if you are already registered) it should show you the conference information in your time zone.
Even though you have registered to be part of this conference, you also need to register to Zoom to access the live session.
If you cannot get into the live session, for any reason the sessions will be available to view on our website. While we will try to make the videos available as soon as possible, please allow up to 24 hours for it to be ready. I will send out an email once they are up with instructions on how to access the media.
Each speaker will speak 20-30 minutes, there will be 5 speakers on day 2, as Lana could not speak in session 1. We will have time for ministry and perhaps a short break in the middle.
This is the first time we’ve done anything in such a condensed format, and is a learning experience for us. We beg your patience if any issues arise.
Our hope in making this a free web conference is that it is accessible to everyone. We had an amazing time hosting our Abound conference, and have the same expectation of this new one too. We do encourage you to sow into those who have given their time to share their wisdom, and will make their details available during the webinar and on the conference video gallery on our website later. In a conventional conference, there would be an offering taken to cover speakers and any expenses. This is a different format, but we would like you to consider an offering in an electronic format to bless the speakers during or after the session.
If you have not yet registered for the webinar: the link is here:
I do recommend you register early, to make the process of connecting and joining the session easier on the day.
You should receive an email an hour before the scheduled
start time from Zoom with a link to join the webinar. In case you don’t get it,
the zoom webinar ID is
105-582-396.
Please, double check the spam box for the email if you have not seen it.
You do need to register to zoom before you can connect.
During the Web Conference, there will be a lot going on in the background. I will try to keep an eye out for emails as they come in, but there will be a lot of extra work to do too.
Thank you for joining us. We are excited for the next couple of days, and have no doubt that you are all excited too.
Blessings
Kevin (and Lana) Vawser
