“I AM STRENGTHENING MY PEOPLE IN UNEXPECTED WAYS!”

Over the past few weeks the Lord has been highlighting the word “STRENGTH” to me over and over again. He has been speaking to me about the areas where ‘strength has been stolen’. The areas where deep weariness, struggle and pain have continued to remain. As I have pressed into the Lord to hear His heart, I heard the words:

“I AM STRENGTHENING MY PEOPLE IN UNEXPECTED WAYS”

The sense surrounded me that the Lord is bringing deep strengthening back to His people, physically, emotionally and spiritually in ways that will demonstrate His power and His goodness like never before.

These “unexpected ways” that He is going to bring forth the strengthening, the rebuilding and fortification to His people are going to be in ways that seem “so out of left field” but will be saturated with His goodness, His kindness and His love.

The Lord is strengthening hearts again in faith, in hope, in dreaming again and in freedom. The Lord is leading His people out of many, many years of captivity. The Lord is bringing forth a new strength by His Spirit within His people that is unlike anything they have experienced before.

Isaiah 40:31 has been resounding loudly within my heart the past few days:

“But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him]
Will gain new strength and renew their power;
They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun];
They will run and not become weary,
They will walk and not grow tired.”

The Lord decreed:

“THE EAGLES ARE ARISING!!!”

There is a strengthening the Lord is bringing that is breaking off deep physical, emotional and spiritual weariness.

The Lord’s voice thundered around me:

“Embrace these unexpected ways of strengthening, for in the process, I am preparing My people for what I am about to pour out, I am preparing them for greater things than they have ever imagined. This strengthening process is taking My people into deeper intimacy with Me, new realms of revelation, courage, vision, anointing, clarity, healing and JOY”

Suddenly the Nehemiah 8:10 resounded loudly around me:

“The JOY of the Lord is your strength”

The Lord is restoring the JOY to His people. He is restoring confident expectation of what He is going to do. He is restoring strength in the revelation of His nature, the power of His Word and the joy it is to be a child who sits on His lap and dreams with Him.

Friend, today I prophesy over you that there is a NEW STRENGTH that is upon you by the power of His Spirit. The weariness you have known, the pain you have known, the areas that have zapped your strength, the Lord is bringing HEALING and restoration. He is bringing a strengthening that you have never known to go further than you have been, higher than you have flown, deeper than you have dived with Him into the depths of intimacy and wider than you have ever reached.

Embrace the unexpected strategies and ways the Lord is using to bring this strengthening to you, even in the places you don’t understand, but you can CLEARLY see His hand.

He is at work, and He’s strengthening you in Him like never before to extend His Kingdom and fulfill your destiny.
