I HEARD THE LORD SPEAKING TO MANY ‘WHAT I AM CALLING YOU TO LAY DOWN IS MAKING ROOM FOR THE NEW THING I AM DOING’

Recently I heard the Lord speaking to many, ‘What I am calling you to lay down is making room for the new thing I am doing.’

As the Lord spoke these words I began to see many in the body of Christ hearing the Lord leading them to lay down certain things in this season. And amidst the grief in the ‘laying down’ and ‘letting go’ that many were feeling, I could feel the expectation and anticipation in the spirit of the new things that the Lord is leading these ones into.

As I leaned in and listened to the Lord’s heart, I heard:

‘My precious people, I am bringing you into a new day. I am bringing you into new things that I have planned for you and am calling you to step into. I say unto those of you who are feeling grief in the letting go and the laying down, lean into Me. Look to Me and allow Me to minister to your heart. Get not stuck in the grief of the letting go by focusing upon that which is being laid down and that which I am asking you to let go of, but look to Me.

‘Look into My eyes and see the hope and anticipation of the new things that I am doing and bringing you into. Even if you do not understand right now the move of My hand, I am calling you into deeper places of trust. For I have good plans for you and I am leading you into new things that you have not even hoped for, imagined or dreamed of. (Eph 3:20)

‘I say unto you, that in the laying down and the letting go I am making room for the new things that I am doing. I say unto you, hold not tightly to how things were, but release control and watch the restructuring and the shifts that I am bringing forth. For I am bringing you into places of life in Me that you have not walked in before. For there are many of you that have not recognised the pressure and the containment that you have been living in; and I am bringing you into freedom in some of these areas of laying down and letting go of that which I am asking you to.

‘I say unto you, in the laying down and the letting go, I am shifting and changing the pace. I say unto you, that as you move with Me in obedience to where I am leading, you shall see an acceleration upon the move of My Spirit in your midst that you have not yet seen. The acceleration that shall come upon you by My Spirit in this hour does not mean ‘doing more’ – it is MY HAND bringing forth movement in your midst that defies the natural realm. I am bringing you into days of seeing the power of My Spirit move in your midst like you have never seen before.

‘I say unto you, “Guard your ears,” in this transitional place of letting go and laying down. Stay vigilant and focused upon what I have spoken to you and how I am leading you. For the enemy – through confusion that would attempt to enter into your life – would seek to cause you to remain white-knuckled upon the very things that I am asking you to lay down and let go of. I say unto you, guard this transitional space wisely and be not flippant with sharing the process that I am leading you through. Continue to seek Me for My wisdom and walk in My ways of wisdom. For as you seek Me in this hour with a heart of purity and humility, you shall see My Spirit increase your discernment.

‘Pay attention to your discernment and follow My voice of peace. For there are many false words that would attempt to come to you to attempt to hinder what I have spoken in the laying down and in the letting go. You must remain resolved in what I have spoken to you. For as you seek Me and come to Me for My vision and My Word to see as I see, you shall see the new day coming forth. You will see the dreams within My heart for the new day I am bringing you into before they manifest in the natural.

‘I say unto you, “Come up higher in your vision.” There is an invitation into greater vision right now – to see this process that I am leading you through from My perspective. Yield to My Spirit and ask for My divine sight and insight to see and perceive the move of My Spirit in your midst, to see that I am bringing you into a new day. For I say unto you, that as you look to Me and keep your eyes upon Me, you will see in even greater ways that there is an empowerment of My grace – that is far greater than you have experienced – to move in obedience to that which I am speaking to you. I am transitioning you. I am upgrading you. And I am maturing you and bringing you into plans that I have for you that are far greater than you realise.

‘My precious ones, I am leading you into a new way of moving with Me. I am leading you into greater places of walking in My wisdom and My ways. I am bringing you into a new day and it will require a new level of dependence. You cannot hold onto what was and move into what I have for you. You must let go of that which I am asking you to lay down – and the new day of fruitfulness in Me that I am leading you into is far greater than you have imagined.

‘I say unto you, that you are going to encounter Me in the letting go and laying down, in ways that you have not seen Me before. I am going to reveal My goodness, My love, My provision and My faithfulness to you in unprecedented ways. I am not calling you to let go and lay down and then not lead you deeper into My heart for you. Oh, it is My heart to draw you deeper into realms of revelation of My nature and My goodness.

‘For some of you, you are seeing that these moments of laying down and letting go are some of the most painful and the hardest moments. But I say unto you, the JOY that you shall know in Me, the PEACE that you shall know in Me, the VISION you shall know in Me, the PROVISION that you shall know in Me, the revelation of My love that you shall see, will FAR OUTWEIGH the pain and the wrestle in the letting go and the laying down.

‘This is a new season and I am calling you to release control to Me in a deeper way. I am bringing you into deeper place of dependence. I am bringing you into greater days of seeing My divine power manifest in your midst. Where many of you have felt the pain in the letting go and laying down, you shall know My Glory and miraculous power in the days ahead as you step into the new things that I have for you. As you continue to seek Me and receive My vision for the new day before you, your hearts shall burn with My promises for you and what I am speaking to you about your new season.

‘In Me you live and move and have your being. (Acts 17:28) Do not delay in your laying down. Move forward in obedience to Me and watch and see the new season spring forth before you – where you shall walk with Me into the new things that I have for you that are far greater than you have imagined.’
