I HEARD THE LORD SAY ‘TAKE A DECISIVE STAND AGAINST DISTRACTION’

This week I heard the Lord say, ‘Take a decisive stand against distraction.’ And I began to hear so much noise in the spirit and I could feel this tug from so many directions coming against many of God’s people. It felt so swirly to me in the spirit and I could see it was so hard to maintain focus.

As I leaned in and listened to His heart, I heard the Lord say again:

‘Take a decisive stand against distraction.’

It was so clear to me in this encounter that the enemy was using all he could to keep many locked in a place of distraction; and there was a call from the Lord to push hard back against this distraction. I could feel in the spirit that this distraction was above and beyond natural realm distraction. I could hear so many crying out, ‘What is going on? Why am I so distracted? I am never distracted like this.’

There was such a strong push against many with this distraction that they were even finding it hard to maintain focus. This was a specific assault of the enemy to keep people from hearing the Lord’s voice, from the secret place and from what the Lord was calling them to put their hands to right now.
As I leaned in again and listened to His heart, I heard:
‘My people, take authority over the distraction that is coming against many of you. Take authority over this attack of the enemy to steal your focus. For there is much vying for your focus, but I am calling you deeper into the secret place with Me, to commune with Me and to hear and perceive that which I am speaking and releasing.

‘I say unto you, this attack of distraction has come against many to hinder the increase of discernment that I am releasing to you in the secret place. It has come attempting to steal discernment. It has come attempting to steal the increase of insight and strategy I am releasing, and it is coming to attempt to steal your peace. See it for what it is, My people. See it for what it is. For I say unto you, that this attack of distraction coming against you has NO power over you unless you allow it to remain. I say unto you again, take authority over this distraction and give it no room. I say unto you, take authority over it in My name, bind it and come deeper into the place of praise and worship and you will see this distraction break.

‘There are many who have been crying out to Me, wondering what they had done wrong. There are many who have been feeling intense anxiety over this unusual lack of focus and ability to remain focused. I say unto you, SHAKE IT OFF. Come deeper into the secret place with Me and take authority over this distraction; and worship Me. Watch as you take authority over this, the tidal wave of increase of discernment and increase of strategy that shall be given unto you. I say unto you, that I am bringing you into such a deeper place of seeing Me, of knowing Me, of hearing My voice: and the enemy is terrified of your intimacy with Me. I am bringing you deeper into a place of communion with Me to know My heart and to hear My voice.

‘I say unto you, continue to move forward with resolve in what I have called you to. Continue to follow My ways and My pace for your lives in this season, continue to seek Me in all your ways. For many, the enemy has come to attempt to lure you deeper into a place of busyness to keep you distracted from the place of communing with Me in prayer. As you take authority over this attack that is coming against you, continue to ask for My wisdom in this hour in the pace of your lives and to guard yourselves from putting your effort and time to things that I am not calling you to in this season.

‘For there is a demonic spirit that is coming against your minds and your hearts to keep you distracted, but the enemy is also working to keep you distracted in busyness. Continue to surrender your schedules to Me and ask for discernment and wisdom in what to put your hands to. For there are many that have been lured into “good things” but they are not things that I am breathing upon in this season.

‘Do not allow busyness to move you from the deep place of communion with Me, the place of prayer and the places I have called you to put your hands. Allow not distraction to enter your lives through busyness in this hour. It is imperative in this hour that you are ferociously focused upon Me and what I am speaking and where I am leading. Come to Me My people and allow Me to lead you in taking a decisive stand against distraction. Come to Me and look into My eyes and focus upon Me. The enemy is attempting to weary many by keeping them from the place of life and strength, the place of refreshment and communion – the secret place with Me.

‘Be not a victim, arise as a victor and take authority over these distractions in the spirit. Follow the leading of My Spirit in strategy to take decisive stands against this in the natural, and watch the deeper level of intimacy, encounter, discernment and insight that I am inviting you into right now – things the enemy is terrified of you walking in. Arise! Take a decisive stand!’
