I HEARD THE LORD SAY ‘STAND AND STRIKE THE GROUND! STAND AND STRIKE THE GROUND’

Recently I heard the Lord say, ‘Stand and strike the ground! Stand and strike the ground.’

When the Lord spoke these words I saw many that have been battling some significant opposition from the enemy in the last few weeks, but specifically targeted in the areas that the Lord has called them to. I saw that these intense attacks were coming against many in their areas of assignment and areas of focus from the Lord in this hour.

It was very clear to me in this encounter the sense of victory and authority in the atmosphere. I could feel the tangible spirit of overcoming and victory in the spirit as I saw this warfare coming against many. The sense that surrounded me was that even though it felt like a lot and it felt intense in the spirit, the spirit of overcoming, the victory and the authority in the name of Jesus Christ far outweighed the level of opposition that was swirling.

The Lord spoke again:

‘Stand and strike the ground! Stand and strike the ground.’

When the Lord spoke these words there was a strong call from the Lord to continue standing (Ephesians 6) and to not move from what the Lord has spoken and to stand in faith. Where the Lord said, ‘strike the ground,’ (2 Kings 13:14-19) there was such a strong sense of: again PUT YOUR STAKE IN THE GROUND and declare the territory in which you stand, the Lord has given to you. As I began to see many standing and striking the ground – putting their stake in the ground again as a declaration of faith – I began to hear a rumbling in the spirit that sounded like thunder. It was then that I began to see the ground shake and I saw the river of the Spirit come flooding in, in an unprecedented way.

What struck me was, for some people, in these areas where the enemy had been coming hard against them in the last few weeks in greater ways, the ground seemed really hard. The sense surrounded me that these areas have been ‘battlegrounds’. They have been areas that felt like they have been marked by the enemy for a long time; where he has continued to contend to occupy, and just when many thought they had come to a point of seeing breakthrough in these areas, the enemy came hard again in the last few weeks. But it was then that I heard the Lord say, ‘the ground is about to BREAK OPEN and be filled with the River of My Spirit.’

Where there have been intense battlegrounds and territories that many have been occupying, which the Lord has called them to in this hour, that seem to have had relentless battle after battle: as you STAND (Ephesians 6) and STRIKE THE GROUND (2 Kings 13) and put your stake in the ground right now, there is going to be a great breaking open of these areas and territories you are called to occupy in this hour to see the greatest move of the Holy Spirit and the River of God in these spaces and places.

As I continued to lean into the Lord and listen to His heart, I heard:

‘My River is going to flow rapidly. My River is going to flow rapidly. It is an unprecedented flow. Where the enemy has attempted to mark these areas with battle and his plans to steal, kill and destroy; I say unto you that these grounds, these territories are MARKED FOR A MOVE OF MY SPIRIT. Do not MOVE from where I have called you. Do NOT MOVE from the territories I have called you to. Do NOT back away from the places that I have called you to stand in and the assignments I have given you.

‘Do NOT take your hands from the plough. Do NOT move from the instructions and the wisdom I have given you for this hour and these places you are called to occupy. Do not forfeit your ground in this hour because of the attacks of the enemy. Do not forget the ground and lands I have given you in this hour through your agreement with the lies of the enemy and carnal words from your mouths – ARISE IN AGREEMENT with what I am speaking and My Words. Ferociously STAND AND STRIKE the ground now in My name. Strike the ground IN FAITH right now and put the stake in the ground. Declare from the rooftops that this territory and this ground belongs to Me and I have GIVEN IT TO YOU!

‘My people, the enemy is trying so hard to hinder your perspective and your focus. Witchcraft attacks and attacks on clarity have come against you to attempt to lure you into seeing from the natural realm and seeing what the enemy is speaking. I say unto you, that where the enemy has been trying to lure you into a posture of feeling like you have to continue to battle FOR the ground and to battle to KEEP the ground; I say unto you, COME UP HIGHER. COME UP HIGHER and see from MY perspective. I HAVE ALREADY GIVEN YOU the ground. The territory is ALREADY YOURS. STAND and STRIKE from the posture of VICTORY. Stand and strike, seeing from My perspective – that you ALREADY have the victory in Me, and even while the battle rages, the victory has ALREADY been given to you and I have given you the land.

‘I have given you the territories, I have given you the victory. STAND AND STRIKE to ENFORCE the victory that ALREADY IS IN ME, and watch the enemy begin to flee. The enemy is attempting to challenge your authority in Me. The enemy is attempting to challenge your faith and to cause you to come out of your seat (Ephesians 2:6): in your thoughts, your perspective and your mouths. I say unto you, AGREE WITH ME: ENFORCE the victory in Me and watch him flee.

‘The enemy has been working SO hard to keep many of you in the place where you feel like you are spinning your wheels in these lands I have given you and make you feel like there is no forward movement or momentum. But I say unto you, that as you STAND and STRIKE the ground in faith and put your stake of faith in the ground; you will see not only a breaking through of greater momentum as My River flows and floods in, but you will begin to see ACCELERATION upon the INSTRUCTIONS I have given you and the wisdom I have given you in how to move with Me and co-labour with Me in these lands and territories to extend My Kingdom. GREAT acceleration by MY SPIRIT will come upon these areas as you obey the instructions I have given you. Not only will momentum be recovered but acceleration will be seen.

‘These areas and lands have been marked for a move of My Spirit that is beginning now, as you stand and strike the ground in faith and put your stake in the ground. DO NOT MOVE from what I have spoken. You are MARKED for an unprecedented move of My Spirit.’
