I HEARD THE LORD SAY ‘DO NOT ALLOW DISTRACTION TO DEFER AND DETER YOU FROM THE DIRECTIVE I HAVE GIVEN YOU’

Recently I have released a few words about a spirit of distraction coming against many in the Body of Christ and the call of the Lord to take authority over this spirit of distraction. Also the Lord has been speaking about seeking Him deeply for wisdom in strategies, boundaries and remaining ferociously steadfast and focused upon what He is speaking and where He is leading.

This week I have felt an increase of the onslaught against many in the area of distraction. It felt stronger than it did than when I released the first prophetic word on distraction. So I leaned into the Lord and listened to His heart and what He wanted to say, and I heard the Lord speaking over many:

‘Do not allow distraction to defer and deter you from the directive I have given you.’

I went and looked up the definitions of defer and deter:
DEFER: To put off (an action or event) to a later time; postpone.
SYNONYMS: To adjourn, suspend, shelve, carry over, delay, postpone, put off

DETER: ‘Discourage (someone) from doing something by instilling doubt or fear of the consequences.
SYNONYMS: To put off, stop, put a stop to, avert, block, dishearten, dissuade, scare off, discourage

As I continued to lean in and listen to the Lord I heard:

‘Dig your heels into the directive and directives I have given you for this season and remain there. For distraction is coming from many directions to steal your peace, steal your focus, hinder what I am doing and releasing through you and to cause you to move into places where My grace and directives are not found. This spirit of distraction is coming against many of you right now to attempt to shut down your discernment and to draw you into deep confusion and hinder the rest that is found in following My directive. I say unto you, as you dig in your heels in faith, obedience and focus to the directives that I am giving you, you will find greater peace, rest and flourishing fruit in what I have called you to do and put your hands to in this season.

‘The enemy is coming against many right now to cause you to lose sight of the vision that I have given you and cause you to feel like you have not heard Me correctly and beginning to sow seeds of doubt into the directives that I have given you. But I say unto you, there is GREATER DISCERNMENT increasing right now in the directives I have given you as you stand against the distraction that is attempting to come against you. I say unto you, do not allow the distraction to defer and deter you from the directives I have given you. There is a great clash happening for many right now between old wineskins and the new wineskin.
Do not be distracted and look back to old wineskins. Remain focused on the new directives and the new wineskin I have been speaking to you about.

‘For there are many of you that have stopped your movement forward into the directives I am giving you in fear that you are not hearing Me correctly. But I say unto you, make INTENTIONAL movement and steps to move deeper into the directives I have given you, and sow into them. As you continue to sow into what I have spoken to you – and the visions, words and leadings I have given you in this season that I have confirmed to you – you will see great fruit come forth. Distraction is coming swift and fast to attempt to dissuade you, but I am calling you to OBEDIENT ACTION in your intentionality in sowing into My directives.

‘Refuse to entertain doubt, refuse to entertain the confusion that has come against you. Refuse to entertain the distraction. Come to Me; come deeper into stillness and again you will see and hear that which I have placed in your spirit for this season.

‘For where My directives are and you are being led, you will find a greater empowerment of My grace, rest, peace and movement of My Spirit; and this spirit of distraction is coming against many of you to move you into a place of striving, unrest, fear and places where My grace is not resting in this season.

‘I have spoken to many of you about the EASE and the REST in My slipstream and the anointing and My grace in this season in the directives I have given you. I have spoken to you of the rested ease and flourishing that you will find in My presence as you follow these directives. And I have spoken to many of you about this season of coming deeper into the rest of My presence and these distractions are attempting to bring you OUT of the rested places in Me and in My directives that I have given you. I say unto you, that there are many “man-made plans” and “man-made expectations” that are coming to you that are outside of your season; and I say unto you, follow My grace and follow My plans and My directives for as you quiet yourself you will hear My directives again.’

I then went into a vision and I saw many mothers across the earth.

I saw these mothers had been feeling a call from the Lord to a deeper focus on discipling their children and securing the family unit and their homes and families right now; and suddenly I saw a violent wind, almost like a tornado, coming against these mothers. Immediately, I knew in the spirit that there was intense distraction and warfare coming against many mothers right now attempting to hinder their focus, the directives the Lord was giving them, their assignment and their vision for their role in raising
their children and tending to their homes in this hour.

As I leaned into the Lord and listened, I heard:

‘Mothers, take authority over this onslaught and remain steadfast in the directives that I have given. I say unto you, that there is a great move of My Spirit that is being birthed in the lives of your children and your homes in this hour and the enemy is attempting to take your focus. The enemy is attempting to distract you, dissuade you and discourage you; but I say unto you, you are mothering a movement of My Spirit in your midst in raising your children and there is a greater move of My Spirit in and amongst your children in this hour and great things that I am doing in them and it requires a greater focus from you. Do not allow the enemy to distract you from the place of mothering and deeper focus upon raising your children in My ways in this hour.

‘There is much noise surrounding many mothers right now, and I say unto you, I will MEET YOU in your mothering. I am going to meet you in your mothering in ways you have not experienced before. I am increasing strategy, intel and insight in your mothering to raise, disciple and lead your children and teach them My ways. There is a great healing move of My Spirit that is crashing into your homes in this hour to bring healing where healing is needed, recompense where recompense is needed and restoration where restoration is needed. I say unto you, I am establishing and securing the family unit in this hour. Mothers arise and continue to listen to the directives I am giving you in this season in raising your children, for the enemy is terrified of Me in you and the warriors that I have given you to lead and train in My ways.

‘There is a new day dawning over you in this hour. Be not distracted, but dig your heels into My directives and sow intentionally in what I have spoken, and watch the banner of victory continue to arise over your home and your children’s lives and as you mother your children and a move of My Spirit in your midst that you have not yet seen. It’s a new move, it’s a greater move than you have seen. I am strengthening you, refreshing you and sustaining you, and the enemy is terrified of what I am doing in you and your children. Arise mothers, for such a time as this! Arise with ferocious focus upon Me and My directives and watch distraction RUN from you.’
