I HEARD THE LORD SAY “IT IS THE TRAINING OF TRUST”
Recently I heard the Lord say “It is the training of trust” and instantly Proverbs 3:5-6 resonated in my heart:
“Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart
And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him,
And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way.” (AMP Version)
“Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go. Don’t think for a moment that you know it all.” (The Passion Translation)
The Lord continued to speak to me that right now He is working DEEPLY in the hearts and lives of His people concerning trust. The Lord showed me circumstance after circumstance that God’s people are in right now where He is decreeing the words “TRUST ME”. It’s not “trust Me when you know how I am going to do things” or “trust Me when you know exactly when I am going to move” or “trust Me when you know exactly the direction I am leading you” – it was a decree that said “TRUST IN MY NATURE ALONE”. It’s the trusting in Jesus Christ and who He is. His nature, His faithfulness. Trusting in God completely, that He is the One who never changes and there is no darkness within Him.
Every gift God freely gives us is good and perfect, streaming down from the Father of lights, who shines from the heavens with no hidden shadow or darkness and is never subject to change.” (James 1:17 – The Passion Translation)
Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights [the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens], in whom there is no variation [no rising or setting] or shadow [a]cast by His turning [for He is perfect and never changes]. (James 1:17 – AMP)
The Lord showed me that there is an INTENSE TRAINING OF TRUST happening in the body of Christ right now. He is asking for trust continually even in the smallest of things. Why? Because He wants to demonstrate His faithfulness. He is building the faith of His people. He is healing the hearts where ‘trust in Him’ has been broken because of circumstances, failures, disappointments and hurts. The Lord is rebuilding trust right now and He is removing roots in the heart of man that are trusting in ANYTHING ELSE but Him alone.
IT’S THE TRAINING OF TRUST FOR THE TRAJECTORY OF INCREASE AND ACCELERATION.
I heard the Lord say “It is the training of trust for the trajectory of increase and acceleration.”
The Lord continued to speak:
“I am removing these hindrances to trusting Me once and for all. The things that have held My people back for so long in the areas of trusting Me, I am healing them. I am breaking their power, I am breaking their hold, because I am about to position many of My people on a trajectory of increase and acceleration unlike anything they have experienced before, but in order for My people to step into their DIVINE TAKE OFF I must deal with the things that have hindered their trust in Me. For I am about to ENTRUST more to many as they have continued to hold to Me and trust Me in the battles. I am deepening trust in Me and My nature, in My Word, because of what I am about to release them into will require great trust and faith in Me and who I am. My goodness and My faithfulness will heal their hearts and increase trust in who I am.”
The sense surrounded me so strongly that the Lord is working deeply on trust because of what He is about to ENTRUST to His people.
I was struck when the Lord spoke and said “For I am about to ENTRUST MORE to MANY….” and I wondered why the Lord didn’t say “ALL” and suddenly in my wondering, the Lord spoke to Me…
“Lana, I am looking for those I can trust”
The Lord is increasing those places of trust within our hearts, He is removing hindrances so we can step into greater realms of faith, greater places of risk and adventure with Him and see mighty moves of His Spirit and demonstrations of His power. He is so longing to reveal more of who He is and His perfect nature and faithfulness.
In amidst of all the deep work the Spirit is doing in trust in our hearts, the Lord is also looking for those He can trust. He is looking for those who will steward what He is releasing with purity, integrity, yieldedness, surrender and humility. The Lord isn’t looking for perfect people, He is looking for pliable people. He is looking for people who will flow with Him, who will follow Him wherever He goes and work with Him on His plans and His timing. It doesn’t mean there isn’t a place of ‘co-labouring with Him’ – there is definitely a huge invitation to co-labour with Him in His plans and purposes right now like never before, but the Lord is requiring a place of deep surrender and trust in HIS WAYS.
The Lord showed me that MAJOR FAVOUR and the MAJOR shift in the trajectory of increase and acceleration is going to be found by those who are surrendered and yielded to Him and His ways in this new era. It is going to be VERY CLEAR in this new era who is living positioned and pliable. There is going to be a clear distinction in this new era between self-promotion and sanctification. Those who have set themselves apart, those who have sanctified their hearts to Him and consecrated themselves to Him and His ways.
We MUST as God’s people right now as we are on the brink of the greatest move of God we have ever seen on the earth to be living CLOSE to His heart and living in deep intimacy with Him to hear His heart, the rhythm of His heart and His strategy.
He spoke again:
“THE RHYTHM OF MY HEART IS GOING TO BEAT IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION TO HOW MANY EXPECT IN THIS NEW ERA.”
The Lord began to show me that the rhythm of His heart is going to lead many in directions that seem OPPOSITE to the ‘normal’ and opposite to ‘expectations of man’ and the ‘agenda of man’. The rhythm of His heart is going to be leading His people in places and to implement strategies that seem to “go against the grain” but as God’s people walk in complete obedience and not bow to the expectation of man, the fear of man, or the “agenda” of man, these ones will be SUDDENLY positioned in major places of favour and acceleration.
The Lord is looking for those He can trust.
May He find those He is looking for in us. May we be people that cry out “Holy Spirit, create in me a greater sensitivity to the leading of your Spirit. Lord, give me ears to hear and eyes to see. Lord, give me discernment to discern what you are saying. God, open My eyes to the revelation of what you are speaking to me in the Word of God. Lord, I repent for any agendas, anything that has kept me from the place of following you and stewarding with purity what you have placed in My hands.
May we be PLIABLE people in His hands.
