Over the last week I have been feeling an increase in spiritual warfare against many. They have been feeling an increase in resistance and opposition coming against them and I could feel the pressure of intimidation, fear, intense discouragement and despair attempting to entangle many right now. As I leaned into the Lord and listened to His heart, I heard the Lord say: ‘Do not cower, you are coming forth.’ COWER DEFINITION: crouch down in fear.SYNONYMS: recoil, pull back, shrink, back away, draw back.(Google) I could see this intense pressure coming against many from many directions and I could hear many crying out how they were feeling ‘under’ this heaviness and attack. Recently, I heard the Lord say, ‘Don’t look back! You are being delivered into the new season.’ When the Lord spoke those words, the story of Lot’s wife (Genesis 19) and Isaiah (Isaiah 43:18-19) surrounded me. I could feel a warning from the Lord’s heart that it is very important in entering into the new season right now, which the Lord is moving many into, that eyes are fixed upon Him and fixed ahead for what He is doing. Recently I heard the Lord say, ‘Ready, Set, Slipstream.’ When the Lord spoke these words I could see a steam train leaving a station. The sound of the whistle was loud and it was the move into a new movement with the Holy Spirit. It was the closing of one chapter and the opening of a new one. The sense surrounded me in this encounter of ‘commissioning’. It was the sound of commissioning into new assignments that the Lord had for many in this hour. It was a completely new chapter and a completely new day and it was time to move with the Lord into the new things. As I was watching this happen, I could feel some apprehension many were feeling because of the level of warfare, intensity, trial and how hard some ground had been to plough for some in past seasons. New assignments, new pathways, new vision, new strategy; and to be listening to the Lord’s heart to hear how He is asking you to sow into what He is leading you into. What struck me when the Lord spoke these words was that I could feel a strong sense from the Lord that many had not yet received the full picture, but the Lord was calling them to sow into the ‘next step’ that He has revealed and placed before them.
